IDVA Veterans' Service Officers are qualified benefits specialists trained to help veterans and their family gain their earned benefits. We provide counseling to individuals and their families and offer a complete referral service to provide veterans with accurate and current information on the entire range of issues associated with veterans’ benefits and entitlements.

VSO Benefits Assistance

Veteran Service Officers are poised to guide veterans through the process of obtaining earned benefits. They are also veterans and are fully trained on benefits and services available.
War Participation Bonus

Many programs exist to compensate veterans and their families for their service. Our VSOs are ready and willing to assist in determining your eligibility, discussing available options, and submitting the appropriate application/s.
Women Veterans

IDVA is committed to supporting the unique challenges and opportunities of women veterans. Our developing program is designed to provide women veterans access to services and resources and to build a community of strong women with shared experience.
State Licenses & Military Training

IDVA supports veterans through application processes to obtain career-advancing professional licenses and the application of military experience.
Service Animals

Service Animals are instrumental in supporting veterans through transition back to civilian life and the challenges of post-traumatic stress disorder.
